Our Story

SkyFive started in Berlin, over pizza, lagers, and a slightly tipsy promise. Sanchit said, “I’m doing a skydiving course, come summer.” Sami replied, “Is that you… or the alcohol?” Turns out: both. They signed up, passed, and soon fell in love with DZ life. Tracking, wingsuiting, the whole thing (For the nerds: Sami flies a WinX 150, Sanchit a WinX 135).

Life was beautiful. But every busy weekend, their favorite person at the dropzone—the manifester—looked miserable. One Saturday, they watched her kick her PC. That’s when it clicked: the booking and manifest management system is from the Stone Age.

They created SkyFive, a dropzone operations platform for the amazing people in the skydiving community. SkyFive serves not only DZOs and the manifest but also instructors, tandem guests, fun jumpers, and students.

What makes SkyFive different from legacy manifest software?

SkyFive is built as a modern DZ operations platform, not a legacy database with workarounds. It replaces manual steps (multi-step manifesting, instructor rotation, slow reporting, etc.) with automation, a clean Ux, and real-time visibility.

Most importantly, it’s designed around the six stakeholders who make a DZ run: manifest, the DZO, instructors, tandem guests, students, and fun jumpers—so everyone stays in sync and the entire operation feels seamless.

Will you help us migrate and train our team?

Yes — we provide training and onboarding support to help your team get up to speed quickly. We run weekly live webinars for you and your staff, where we walk through key features and workflows, and you can ask questions in real time.

We’re also building a library of video tutorials and a step-by-step manual so your team can learn at their own pace and revisit anything anytime.

Does SkyFive work for both small clubs and large DZs?

Absolutely. SkyFive scales from small, single-location sport clubs to multi-site operations, with role-based access, multiple location management, and consolidated reporting tailored to your size and setup.

Does SkyFive remove control from manifest?

No. SkyFive automates analysis and proposes load and crew assignments, while the manifester confirms the final choices. The goal is fewer manual steps, not less human oversight.

What about instructor fairness and satisfaction?

We love instructors, having learnt so much from them! SkyFive automates instructor rotation and eligibility checks to reduce uneven jump numbers and improve crew happiness, while maintaining operational requirements. And yes, we take pre-jump tips into account!
